If you're unsure whether your design will work as a wood brand at a certain size, send us an email with the design you are wanting and the size you would like and we will check to see if it is something we can manufacture. We will also offer tips and suggestions on how to change the design slightly to get better results on wood and other materials, or to make it something we can manufacture.

PDF drawings are provided for every order before production is started, so you will get to approve a drawing before paying the full amount. However, we do require deposits for very high detailed designs or orders that do not have a complete drawing for us to work off. For orders with no full design where just a pencil sketch or multiple different images are sent in that we have to put together and fully re-work the design, we do require a 50% deposit. Orders that send in clear images of the full design they want will only require deposits if the drawings are very detailed and will take us multiple hours to complete.

The wood brands are sturdy at almost 1/2" thick and will last for years as long as they are not overheated. Overheating should not be an issue when branding surfaces like wood or leather though, since you don't need to get the temperature close to high enough to melt to leave a good brand on wood, leather, or other similar surfaces.

Our wood brands can be heated over an open fire or with a small propane torch. We also sell American Beauty electric handles meant for use with the wood brands that are priced separately from the brand itself. Send us an email to learn more about our available prices and wattage sizes.

Unfortunately we do not have a selection of fonts to choose from. All of our artwork is custom drawn so we do request that you provide an image of the text you want in the font you are wanting and we will match it as best we can and make any necessary modifications to it.

Our high quality wood branding irons are machined out of brass using a CNC Metal Mill. Your brand should turn out just like the CAD drawing that is sent to you.

The our wood/logo option will allow for much more detail and smaller sizes. Our fire brands are cast from aluminum bronze and meant specifically for use on animals. While our fire brands can also be used on wood, we have different requirements to manufacture them. We can manufacture our wood brands with a line thickness of .015" thickness and spacing of .04". With our fire brands, we are not able to manufacture less than .125" thickness and spacing, so the wood brands just allow for much finer detail.
